From our visitors:
Dear Father Gousse:
What a blessing I received this morning when I attended the 9 a.m. Mass at Our Lady’s! I was in Rochester to attend my granddaughter’s High School graduation. I found your church quite beautiful and the community of worshipers beautiful as well! The Liturgy was extremely uplifting and it brought me to tears at different points. The music and musicians were inspiring! Your energy and preaching were….terrific beyond my words. I was astounded at the number of people attending Mass, but, in reflecting on the gift they receive each Sunday–it’s no wonder.
My home parish in West Rutland, VT, is small and struggling. We NEVER have trouble finding a seat at Sunday Mass! Our Pastor is sincere and tries hard to shepherd his “flock” but, sadly, often misses the mark. (A language difference greatly hampers his efforts.)
In addition, the “tone” of your Parish Bulletin shows the caring ministries of your faith community…you folks have a LOT going on!
Thank you for doing God’s work and doing it so well. Thank you for the wonderful blessing I received Sunday morning–I really needed it!
God bless you, your staff, and your work.
