Family Catechesis
Family Matters
If we want children and teens to become lifelong Catholics and members of the church we have to start now by involving the whole family in the life of the church. Family Catechesis and Faith Formation work together with the Church to facilitate the process of ongoing conversion that happens formally and informally within the family unit as well as drawing upon the gifts and faith experiences of the Church family.
We as families come together to experience our faith. We do so in a three part setting, whereby we have a catechesis on a topic, we have an interactive project pertaining to the topic, and lastly fellowship. It is always important to remember that we are building community. We are all part of our Church community, brothers and sisters in Christ at EVERY age!
At this time we hold two events a year and the topics are announced ahead of time for families to sign up for participation. These events have been well attended and are multi-generational.
