Movie of the Week “The Reluctant Saint” Story of St. Joseph of Cupertin

Tuesday, February 13th, 2018 by jgilbert

A heartwarming story of a humble Franciscan friar who literally rose to Sainthood.  Though uneducated but deeply pious, he became a friar and is known for his God given ability to fly.  Portrayed by Maximillian Schell, this is “a must see” movie for the entire family.  It is both amusing and entertaining.  Visit us at the St. Jerome Library and discover many amazing books, DVD’s and other materials that will aid you in your faith journey, specially in this season of Lent.  We are open every Sunday after the 7:30 a.m. Mass until 11:00 a.m. We look forward to your next visit!
