Partakers of the Divine Nature
God put us in the world to know, to love, and to serve him, and so to come to paradise. Beatitude makes us “partakers in the divine nature” and of eternal life. With beatitude, man enters into the glory of Christ and into the joy of the Trinitarian life. Catechism of the Catholic Church 1721
In the Sermon on the Mount, Matthew Ch. 5, Jesus puts forward the path all Christians are to follow. We are to bring the gifts given to us at our conception and Baptism to be used for the building up of the Kingdom of God here on this earth. In the parishes of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary and St. Leo there are multiple opportunities to serve our brothers and sisters both here in the parish and in outreach. Parish Ministries vary from those who console the bereaved to our moral watch-dog, Faithful Citizenship Committee. Prayerfully consider to what ministry God is calling you for the building up of the building up of the Kingdom.
